Why does everyone hate the trunks? I kinda get it for Batman, but why Superman? Most Batman adaptations look to be grounded, so trunks on the outside might take you out of the realness of the movie. Trunks on an all-powerful, flying alien I don’t think will take people away from the events in the film. The trunks ARE A PART OF SUPERMAN

To introduce Superman into a world full of superheroes I think he needs to make his first in costume appearance when multiple other heroes are losing a fight against a strong threat, then this new hero arrives and just destroys the threat without breaking a sweat, showing the world that this guy is different.

The Snyder/Cavill iconography is unmistakable. And i love that the score seems to be a mix of both Williams and Zimmer. I wish Cavill's arc had been completed and that the Syderverse had a proper ending, but this poster has great promise. Can't wait for Thursday.

It’s a great poster, it definitely has sort of a classic sci fi kind of feel, the lighting effects look very reminiscent of like the old school Star Trek posters, if you were wondering how this movie was gonna feel just looking at this poster I would definitely think that this was gonna be like the OG Christopher Reeves movies, in just 1 simple image they tell me exactly how this Superman is gonna feel, which I love

I was one of those people highly against Superman wearing underwear. I thought it was old fashioned and out of style. Dorky looking. But something about seeing this poster makes me change my mind. If this film delivers and leaves me feeling inspired like the Christopher Reeves films, I can accept it. Hope the movie is really good.

So the music they played with the poster was an homage to the original John Williams score. The voice is humming the 1977 score in a more slow melodic pace but its definitely the score. There's also a few keys in orchesrral music that pay homage to the Hans Zimmer score as well.

I think the initial trailer we get Thursday will be something similar to the first teaser trailer for Superman Returns. It will set the tone for the movie, and we get glimpses here and there of Superman.

I like parts of zimmers score I own the cd. But for me it’s hearing that familiar sound with a modern spin and it’s just got me hopeful for a more traditional sound.

The score given is great! It's definitely a mix of Hans Zimmer's theme and John Williams theme. I don't think either one will be prominent in the main score. I simply believe this is the intro to the new score as a homage and passing of the torch.

Speaking generally of the poster my first impression is that it had the same color palette as the Netflix intro when you open it. I mean, I am right up done in there. Literally, the future of Gunn's DCU hangs in the balance to whether the first teaser trailer makes a good impression or not.
