@@benoakman3069 Just watched the movie and I gotta admit this scene was pretty good but considering the entire movie, I was really disappointed. Advertising this as the final showdown of Michael and Laurie is just a scam, they had like 10 minutes of screen time together. And spending almost the entire movie developing a character, just to throw him away in the end seemed pretty weird as well. And some parts of the plot and also the pacing made no sense at all. Just like in Halloween Kills the best parts of the movie were the soundtrack (as always the best part) and the creative kills. I’m a huge fan of the original Halloween movies and Halloween 2018, but these last two really weren’t my type. But that’s just my opinion. "This town needs to heal..." It wasn't until the procession scene that it all clicked into place. That David Gordon Green's trilogy was a masterpiece. 2018: How Myers and his actions have effected Laurie as a survivor and the effects of her fear and trauma ripple through her family. Kills: How Myers and his actions have effected the rest of Haddonfield's survivors and how the effects of fear and trauma ripple throughout the community. Ends: How Myers, his actions and the actions of the town have effected the next generation and putting a stop to continuous cycle of generational trauma. I love how the underlying theme seems to be fear and trauma, and when left unchecked can lead to something much worst than the original tramatic event as well as bad decisions. Laurie lost her family and lived alone in misery, the town forced a mentally ill man to kill himself and inspired senseless and vicious murders within the community, and Corey ended up becoming a new vessel for evil. I cannot get over how David Gordon Green did a remarkable job of tying these movies together as well as doing a parallel-like homage to the first three movies as well as Carpenter's other works. 78/18 : The Night HE came home 2/Kills: Later that same night/Laurie sidelined at the hospital for the majority of the movie Season of the Witch/Ends: Not about Michael and the transference of evil (through masks?)

This trilogy really was something… This film is good and the score in this is something I will not forget. This score and and Michaels final ride was nothing more but emotional to me. In this film he won my heart, proving even at his oldest age he would still be able to kill Laurie in even in his dying breath. It’s basically Halloween triumphant score but it’s sad and emotional because Michael will not triumph this time. This scene where he’s been carried out felt like a big funeral and a goodbye moment for us. This Trilogy made me love this depiction of Michael a lot more and he became one of my top favorite killers along side with Jason. Michael didn’t won his spot as my favorites… he earned it. Laurie walks out after killing Michael on the table to all police cars locks allyson in car and walks back to the house and Michael is standing in hallway as she reaches the door lights a match and blows the entire house up as it flashes to her leaving the gas on. With this music it would've been so dramatic and just better. If I’m being honest this new interpretation of Michael is the most accurate to John Carpenter’s original film. The other films just didn’t capture what John wanted for the character, which is the essence of evil. He didn’t have Laurie as a sister and that didn’t make him kill. It’s all about him returning home, which is why “the night he came home” is so iconic. Halloween Kills got that right and I appreciate that!

I’ll be the one person on the planet earth that isn’t going to say anything negative about kills or say “even though kills was trash”. Nope, I loved it. The endless amount of people that hate it baffles me. I just don’t understand. I had a blast and loved it, I definitely did not expect the response it got. Especially since it was supposed to be a gory slasher movie not Shawshank, and there was so much that they got right and added for Halloween fans. I honestly just thought most would have had a good time with it and not take it so seriously or claim that it absolute garbage and on par with the room because you didn’t like some of the dialogue. It’s a gory slasher movie, it not that’s deep. People act like slasher movies never have dumb characters or anything cheesy. They also don’t appreciate that we’re getting movies made with love after a decade of nothing: it’s just strange as hell to me. The internet has made everyone think their glorified critics. Anyways, I’m done. Not saying that your not allowed to like the movie, just that some people are obnoxious about it and I don’t understand. Can’t wait for Halloween Ends, this trilogy has been awesome, thank you David Gordon Green.

@@nextgenstudios4878 The reason why people, including myself, dislike Halloween Kills is because of its cheesiness, the terrible acting, Michael's portrayal, and the underwhelming presence of the old characters returning. Personally I enjoyed the 2018 reboot way more because it felt grittier, was more realistic, and brought Michael back to his roots. Needless to say, I came into Halloween Kills expecting those same attributes the previous movie had and I was really disappointed. Michael was much more stealthy in the 2018 movie and only somewhat supernatural, whereas in Halloween Kills, he's suddenly back to being full-blown supernatural. He starts massacring a bunch of firefighters that let themselves be killed like John Wick. You can argue that he was pissed off in that scene, which is true, but the way it was portrayed just felt really outlandish for a Halloween movie. The entire tone of the movie is just different from the 2018 film and feels much more cartoony. The acting is also pretty terrible compared to 2018. Allyson's actress screaming "WHAT?!" upon finding out Michael is still alive was extremely difficult for me to take seriously. Also, Tommy Doyle's actor acted way too serious with his long dramatic stares and was hyped up to be this badass, only for him to get completely annihilated in the end. So many of the original characters were wasted in this movie when they could've been saved for Halloween Ends, or at least given a proper send-off. Oh, and don't even get me started on that scene with the mental health patient in the hospital. It was completely pointless. You could've left that entire scene out of the movie and nothing would change. How do these people not even know what Michael looks like when his face was shown on live television in one scene? I would write more about all the problems I have with this movie but I don't have the time nor energy for that right now. It's perfectly fine that you like the movie, because at the end of the day, movies are meant to be appreciated, but for me, this one was an absolute flop. The only good thing was the soundtrack and Michael's design. I just hope Halloween Ends makes up for everything else.

I love how the music for all three of the new movies feel different from each other. They’re not variations of the same music. Each score has completely original tracks aside from the main theme.

Powerful reminder passing in the wind that makes one hold their own knowing how fast it can all change. I’m sorry you lost yours. I’m sure she was a wonderful woman.
