I am a professional framer and I’d say you did pretty good. 😁

John you are always given us wonderful tips. I am going to give you one . I have done a little upholstering and found this wonderful tool for me to use. You do not have to hammer staples. The tool is called Power Shoot stapler. The stapler kicks forwards instead of backwards. This action forces the staple in all the way an eliminating to hammer them in. Have a great day! God Bless,

Thanks so much… going to take a look… the person with the most toys wins :) Blessings to you as well.

@@EmbroideryLegacy I do not have much up body strength and waiting for my husband to come home and work a normal stapler was time wasted. He went out to find something I could use by myself. Now we have his and hers. LOL! You will not regret it.

Thank You for sharing how you did yours. I've been thinking about trying the canvas frames ever since I watched the premier video of the Liberty Bell Tile Design.

Your most welcome, not be a professional “framer” I’m sure the are other and better ways it could be done.

Beautiful piece of artwork! If you were to sell this as a finished product, curious as to what you would charge given the high stich count and the extra labor and materials.

Great project. What fabric did you use?
@EmbroideryLegacy3 жыл бұрын
I embroidery a thick white canvas like material, fused an interfacing on the back and use a cutaway stabilizer to reduce movement.

Would it be better to attach the fabric to the frame with a bit of paper tape first to ensure it is lined up before stapling?
@EmbroideryLegacy3 жыл бұрын
Great idea, I’ll have to give that a try. Framing isn’t my area of expertise :)

@@EmbroideryLegacy framing definitely isn't my wheelhouse either. I just know how easily things can shift on the table LOL.

Do you have to glue each tile together to make the final picture or do you hang each tile individually?
@EmbroideryLegacy3 жыл бұрын
Hung each tile individually, crosshair laser make it so easy :)
@sheilaschenk36523 жыл бұрын
@@EmbroideryLegacy I would never have thought of that.

I'm trying to find the video that shows you how to have a neat backside of your embroidery design. What is it called please?

How did you divide up the whole picture when digitizing
@EmbroideryLegacy3 жыл бұрын
Dividing the artwork into tiles was done before the digitizing process, so each tile was digitized separately.
@mychalty3 жыл бұрын
Is it possible to divide it after it’s been digitized? Thanks for answering
@EmbroideryLegacy3 жыл бұрын
Anything is possible, practical… no. Too much editing involved, faster to plan it for this purpose prior to digitizing.
@mychalty3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Have to figure out how to do that! Another challenge! Btw, you are an amazing teacher. Thanks
