Yeah he has he’s really fantastic in Emmerdale I’ve been doing a lot of drama over the years but I felt nervous the first time when I was on the stage like some butterflies were flying inside my tummy when I’m feeling scared but my parents and my teachers reassured me that it’s alright to feel nervous or scared but you will be absolutely fine when you go on the stage and then my butterflies flew away and I felt relaxed and confident like really really confident performing in front of lots of people and I kept on practising every time before I went on the stage and you can all do the same too if you would like to drama in the future and it’s still alright to feel nervous or scared when your doing something new but the more you get used to things the more you learn to enjoy yourselves and it’s really important to keep practising and not give up you just need to believe in your hearts like really really believe in yourself that you can do this and be confident and feel proud and if you ever feel nervous before going on the stage talk to your family freinds your teacher or your partner and they can support you and help you every step of the way thank you

They do a TREMENDOUSE amount of talking behind his back and never ever give it a thought if he can hear them at all. Once or twice in a series is understandable....BUT almost every week?? What the hell is with the writer.

It's clearly the writers' intent to have Marshall overhear those conversations. It's a standard tv convention. The opposite is to have characters talk openly about something that should be done in secret yet people positioned just a few feet away never hear a thing.
