Bentley Continental GT Oil Change and Service Light Reset DIY

I live in Memphis, TN and have a hard time finding any dealership or mechanic shop to perform oil changes on my 2005 Bentley Continental GT. I've had my car for 8 years and absolutely love it!! It's been 16 months since my last oil change. I only drive my car about 3000 miles per year - a toy! I'm a Mechanical Engineer and believe I am capable of doing an oil change myself - especially after watching both of your videos! Thank you for the information!!!

I’m in the same boat. The local Bentley dealer is 3 hours away. Lol. It’s a fairly easy job. You will do great.

Very awesome video. About to go test drive an 07 Continental GT w/56000 miles. Research indicates I'll pay $600 for an oil change if I take it to a dealership. I don't see why so much.

How about a video on the coolant change and the frequency (5 years suggested by dealer)? Also engine air filters and cabin (pollin) filters? They're cheap and readily available, but nothing on how to DIY.

When you change the O-Ring, do you use the old oil to lubricate it or the new oil? I just bought everything I need and all should arrive in about 10 days so that I can perform this oil change. Again, THANK YOU FOR THE TWO VIDEOS!!

Realistically it would not matter however it is always safer to use new.

Mobil 1 is the one to use. :)

Mobil1 0w40 which only comes in full Synthetic. Full Synthetic oil is usually good for about 6,000 miles
