so in the same biomechanical vein and along similar anatomical lines ,one could conclude that the tensor fascia lata when tightened performs and contributes to internal rotation of the hip (femur) indirectly via lock home mechanism ,as through its attachment to the lateral tibial condyle ; it permits and allows medial femoral rotation on a relatively externally rotated tibia ,thus hip internal /medial rotation is generated in a "closed pack position" ,whilst in"open pack position" when approaching the terminal knee extension ,the tensor fascial lata in association with quadriceps initiate external rotation of the tibia ,which would correspond to a comparative internal rotation of the femur and hence ,internal rotation of the hip.

Mr. Gibbons, I have one question, maybe not directly related to the topic of this one video. It's about taping. If I have to apply 2 tapes, one with 70% stretch, and the other with 25%, for example. Does the order of applying matter? Usually I start from higher stretch (stabilisation) and then the lower (offloading, for example). Hopefully waiting for the answer 🤞

I have been wondering why it’s called the patellar tendon when it’s connecting bone to bone. Thanks for sharing that clinically, it is actually a ligament.

Could you please do a video where you fix someone with cervical facet problems without manipulation you don't teach cervical manipulation & physios & sports therapists aren't taught cervical manipulation so it is an area of our practice that there is a huge gap in.
