I was just about to say this would make a great VR game. Ultrawings is about as close as it gets right now, but Sky Odyssey has more varied missions and arguably more interesting terrain to fly through.

It's alright, but doesn't really scratch that itch I'm looking to scratch, plus the artstyle and graphics, while charming in their own way, don't really do it for me. I really like taking early-war planes in Warthunder out for a test flight in VR and just enjoying zooming around at low level, flying through towns, between factory smokestacks, etc etc.

This game sparked the aviator inside me when I was young, now I am living the dream, working on my private license so I can start a new airborne adventure, rebuilding airplanes at an aeroclub I stumbled upon.

To this day I still consider this game to be the most unique and intersesting flight sim of the 21st century. I mean you had to do some crazy stuff: the first mission throws you into navigating through harsh terrain and rocky valleys and the second mission involves refueling from a fucking train (shown on the cover art). And that is within the first three starter missions, the remainder of the game is fantastic. I plan on making some sort of review of how incredibly special this game is in the near future but I have no way to record it properly. This is probably the best gameplay I have seen and thank you for introducing the emulator to me!

At about 9:09 there is no need to stall the plane and loop around to avoid landslide. Just fly past it.. Played this many times. Also Checkpoint at 7:50 there is a hole on the right - You get a part to the Shinden plane at a secret landing strip if you fly through it.

It was one of the my first games for ps 2 it was very hard to play it and few month ago i tried it again and it s also hard to win but i got very good and sad feelings that it was cool to try it again but there is no possibility go back to the past. I also want to say that soundtrack in this game is very gorgeous. I say thanks for this video from Russia and my ps 2 still works and even the date and time is correct in system menu.

What version of PCSX2 are you using? Landing strips on my version create triangles stretching out on the mini map. 0.9.8 version r4600 but do have 1.5.0 too (Slightly unstable on my laptop tho)

i have a question in my game the runways on the mini map are all distorted i tried coping ur settings to no avail and i was able to fix it using 1.4.0 awhile back and now i can't remember which setting i used did you ever have this issue and if so what did you do

I can't get this to work in PCSX2 1.4 or 1.5dev, game loads and mission loads but then after about 2 seconds on the runway the game crashes? Did you have any problems like this and if so how did you fix them? Or alternately can you post your full list of settings/hacks in PCSX2?

Yes, but Pilot Wings 64 wasn't quite as advanced as this. Shame video games haven't really evolved in 20 years, but technology doesn't really make creating good games easier.

I'll have a video for you after.. John GG.. I quick way to get first hidden part of Shinden. Doing a few runs first and seeing if I can do it within time AND get the upgrade in one.. I crashed just as speed too high when landing at hidden air field. I know it is possible.. Running it on PS3 so looks aren't everything.. lol

Judging by time - B is possible with Shinden wing in tow and an upgrade for plane.. Landed fine and got caught out by falling rocks 2nd time.. Take 3.. lol NO checkpoints missed this way either..
