I just love the intro of the games. With the guys in the tunnel and then stepping onto the ice. Hell, a game from year 2000 has better transcription of a hockey game atmosphere than modern garbage games.

Serious question...was it '01 or '02 that time slowed down on a fastbreak or if you hit someone hard enough?

I don't remember that being in 01, so probably it was in 02. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

talkin about the slow motion action replays for big moments (ex. hits)? That's NHL 2002. NHL 2003 had the "gamebreaker" feature that the FIFA Street games had, where time slowed down and you had a chance to take a superpowered shot at goal.
