Went there a couple years ago, if you go deeper you will come across what looks like a old table made out of Crisso post….money laying all around it….like a sacrificial table of some sort. Good experience.

Thank you so much Octavio! There are a lot of great private spaces throughout the entire cave system where you will feel romantic. We sat near the wine room and it was a lovely table with a great view. When we walked around we saw several private little nooks with a single table so you can request one of them. We are sure they will accommodate your needs. Enjoy and we appreciate you watching.

It is moderately priced and a little on the higher end. As it is mainly for tourists the prices reflect that.

It is actually true. Literally translated in Mayan ALUX means something similar to Elves or Leprechaun. They were "supernatural entities that safeguard and protect the sacred sites and mountains, ensure with their intervention the achievement of a bountiful harvest and scare off intruders." So, modern day Maya ancestors liken them to a Leprechaun.
