Well we have to remember that the different levels of the game are only a small part of the entire Kingdom, so maybe the Egyptian-like designs and mamoths could exist in a different place of the kingdom

Obviously (To me) a lot of these concepts had to be cut to be inline with Nintendo's schedule. But also as others in the comment section are saying, if Odyssey 2 happens they will be extremely likely to use these concepts (Fully realized Ruined Kingdom anyone?)
