I bought this gun and I love it. It took about 200 rounds to get use to the higher grip, I keep holding the side lock down so that the slide would not lock back on empty. Worked through that and now I rock this gun. I know you always say it's the Indian not the arrow, but I have several glocks and I now carry this instead. IT IS A BETTER ARROW! I rock this gun, 4 inch plates at 30 - 40 yards, at 7 yards I shoot out the center target dot. Pull- draw -shoot A zone under 1 sec for the first time. I love this gun!!! With the red dot you see what the recoil does and you come right back on target. LOVE THIS GUN.

I love your channel and love what you do. These guns are sick and are very well made. A whole lot of value for a really decent price. I actually ordered the first war poet pistol and here's where it gets a little negative. Sportsmans guide really let me down. I used the FFL they recommended and I spoke with him a month ahead of time (they were on back order at the time) and we had a good conversation, friendly and everything seemed good. He then chose to leave the state for two weeks with no warning whatsoever. Fedex tried dropping it off three times, which is their max before they send it back to the seller. I got in contact with sportsmans guide and they refused to ship it to another FFL. They said they had to restock the gun and give me a refund. When they received the gun it was already on back order again and they shipped it to the next person in line rather than re selling it to me and sending it back out. At that time the gun was still on back order until August. Needless to say, I went another direction. I was really excited but the whole process was a real disappointment, especially after waiting a month for it to ship out in the first place. I hope you do well with these firearms. They're more than worth it. I'll still be here to watch your channel and support what you do, but unfortunately not by way of sportsmans guide.

I own a SS MR920 and its the best value out there. Fantastic Gun and the optic sits so low its amazing. Also the screws they use for the optic truly are almost an inch long. They include three sets of screws and three adapters for the different optics they have confirmed compatible, Love it. Try and piece that together.. threaded fluted barrel optic cut and plate, slide cuts. Just cant beat it and its a Texas company.

I'll be honest John , I've actually got an MR920 Combat on order right now. Only reason I hadn't gone with the WarPoet was the threaded barrel. It's the one thing I just don't need. I never plan on running a pistol suppressed... makes the gun longer. Have to unthread the cap to break it down for cleaning etc and knowing me I'd lose it. Would have LOVED to have the "War Poet" branding on the barrel at the ejection port though. That being said... I did order a 2 piece war belt from you guys. Love what you do, love your approach to life, family, and faith.

I'm with you. I won't need a comp or suppressor so I want to order the MR920 Combat. I don't have a need for all of the fancy slide cuts either, so might as well save the cost. For those that are looking: *Sportsman Outdoor* has both the Combat and Elite in stock (at time of this comment) but neither are the optic ready variants. *Battlehawk Armory* has a full featured Elite in stock, but it's overpriced ($1300) *Locked Loaded* has a Combat, threaded barrel, and optic ready MR920 in stock. If anyone finds an MR920 Combat, optics ready, non-threaded, in FDE, and black barrel in stock. Let me know. LOL.

I’ve been shooting since I was 7, just barely getting into the pistol game which has been awesome. I currently own a PPQ M2 that I’ve put around 2200 rounds through since I got it a month and a half ago, and I’m learning I want a different grip angle and a lower bore. This pistol is probably what I’m going to purchase after I get another 3k rounds through this Walther and “git gud “ as it were. This system does not require any adapter plates whatsoever. The ones you mentioned all have an adapter of some sort. Less parts = stronger connection of optics to the slide with the use of longer screws that go deeper into the slide.

@@robertsalyers1351 I have at least 7 of them, Gen 1 & wand they are all good to go for me. Been using them for well over 2 years now. I do see that some people have issues with them. I think it depends on the specific Glock 43x. Some pistols seem to like them and some don’t. There will always be some tolerance variances between each individual pistol that’s rolled off the line which I think is the overall issue. People have reported that their pistol wouldn’t work with any mags including replacements while the same mags would work in a friends G43x without issues.

I purchased a lightly used MR918 Elite at a pawn shop. Best pistol purchase I have probably ever made and this is coming from a guy that is not really a Glock fan. Only bad thing about my purchase is it was missing the other backstraps and extended magwell. This pistol is so nice, so fun to shoot, and just such a pleasure to carry that a coworker immediately went out and bought himself a MR920. It is his favorite pistol and EDC now also. EVERYONE that shoots it, LOVES it; from newbies to highly experienced gun owners. Buddies that are Beretta guys, 1911 guys, ALL love the gun. That says A LOT. The only thing one needs to do, besides buying a good holster, is to buy some Glock OEM mags. I get why they use the magpul ones, but the magpul mags suck. Use them for the range and the subsequent occasional malfunction due to those crap magpul mags. I have a few thousand rounds through the pistol with OEM Glock 19 mags and zero malfunctions when using the Glock OEM mags.

I'm on Shadow System's wait list for it. I plan on EDC, so no need for a threaded barrel or fancy side cuts and stuff that the Elite has.

Mine came in on Monday. Nice little 9. Will probably become my EDC. Trigger started crunchy, but breaks in after a couple hundred pews. Did a 25 cent trigger job and it is now really crisp and nice.

Looks good! Thanks for updating the Gen 4 Glock in such a useful and sensible way. I see on the SG website there is one from Shadow Systems with a threaded barrel and one without. Both WP pistols come with the threaded barrel. Have you done a video yet about adding a suppressor to this pistol? Showing what to look for in a suppressor, how it effects the operation, pros & cons, etc. I am a total newbie to this whole suppressor thing (I have the ringing ears to prove it) and know nothing about them, other than what has been shown in movies. If you already have done a video like this, I apologize - I will go back and check your video library more carefully! If you have not yet done a suppressor video, well then, I believe your audience would greatly benefit from good advice from a " been there, done that" guy!

Vortex Viper/Venom mounting pattern is *supposed to be* the same, however the oal is greater on the Venom by 1.5mm. The offset of the mounting studs to the front/back of optic is smaller on the Viper by .9mm at the back and .5mm at the front, hence the ~1.5mm difference.

I had an Fde Mr920 Elite and sold it just so I could order the war poet because I think the slide cuts look more pretty to look at :D

I bought the Warrior Poet MR920 and these pistols must be hand selected. Out of the box the Red Dot was spot on and needed no adjustment. I shit this pistol 200 rounds straight out of the box and had no failures. My original MR920 failed several times during the 200 round break in. Totally satisfied with the Warrior Poet version. The price was hard to beat getting the Holosun combo.

I have the new war poet pistol and I am in love. I don't prefer 9mm (I like 40, sue me), but this gun is SO EASY to love. The optic has some issues with how they placed the glue because it is a bit sloppy, but the pistol as a whole package is affordable and runs. I put 150 rounds through it day one after cleaning and lube; didn't have one single problem. For the price, I would buy this over a sig legion any day, if I had to pick one. I don't though, so I chose to own the 229 legion and this.
