Umm, yeah it is. I saw him at this very concert (Stockholm, 1997) . That's Kenny Aronoff on drums right there too, touring with him then, if you need more confirmation. It was a good show, John was seriously just excited and happy.

Since AC/DC released a Backtracks album of unreleased material or rereleased material, I'd love to see collection of "Fogerty" backtracks. The live videos and even the unreleased material that never got released on video and audio both would be the most anticipated album ever to be Released. This video, along with other rare clips, Night Of The Proms, Early CCR, all the stuff true Fogerty/CCR fans never got to see. I'd pay top dollar to get the collection, everything Fogerty does is worth the time to listen to.

The drums made this song, regardless of what Fogerty thinks of them. I know he didn’t like them. He’s a hell of a songwriter and a great musician. But he hast to understand there’s an audience. In the audience, Lowe’s, CCR drummer.

IMO he should've been playing a Strat all along. The tone is much less harsh and abrasive than his Les Paul. Now if he'd stop reaching and over-singing, he'd really nail the sad, soulful vibe (and I say that as a huge JF/CCR fan).

LOL, got your attention, didn't I? No really, I don't doubt that it's John Fogerty, just wondering if anyone else noticed it. It seems as if he's exagerating his actions. Like maybe someone said something about how he acted on stage and he's exagerating, It's like him to do something like that. I got it, it's John Fogerty impersonating John Fogerty! :-)

I had not thought about booze, but that would explain it. it's just weird to me, never saw him act like that on stage before.

I always thought he quit drinking after he met Julie, he doesn't sound drunk at all- and I've met plenty of pretty hammered people to know the dif

You got it right, but how can 50,469 viewers miss it? A good version, but a CCR revival band! Just so no-one misunderstands, THIS IS NOT JOHN FOGERTY!!!!

Thx Br Ba, I thought maybe I was losing my mind. lol. The guitar playing doesn't seem right either, not John Fogerty enough.

Yes, i see it-it is almost like he is parodying himself, exaggerating the expressions, maybe it is nerves-or fatigue, or booze?

I love Fogerty, this was when he started playing CCR on a regular basis again. I love the original instrumentals behind the song but hearing the guitar play the most recognizable CCR Tune behind Fortunate Son is more entertaining than humiliating Justin Bieber. This is an awesome song, especially on guitar and played for the first time since 1970- wish I was alive to hear CCR in their heyday.

Whoa, strange performance-he is having problems reaching the notes, probably toured out-you have good nights, you have not so good nights. That is the problem with being filmed, it captures it all....

I clicked unlike because something is wrong with this video, I'm not quite sure. "John's" actions are too exagerrated, different from any other videos of him, and the hair seems a little off. Has anyone else wondered if this is a John Fogerty lookalike? js

Horrible singing. He could not reach the high notes even then...

I always thought he should have done this song in A instead of in B. It's just too uncomfortable listening to him strain to hit those B-5's
