when I first met my wife in a bar, it as of course loud and smokey. The night came to a end and we were talking and I said we have to dance, I went to juke box and there was not much on there. I saw this and played, she never knew the song but it became 4 minutes that felt like the next 25 years in a insant. She is gone now but I wish she was here to see this rendition. love ya sweety.

John Fogerty is one of the greatest musicians of the past 50 years! John is still out there rockin' it and still has his incredible voice. There are VERY few musicians that can say they have been doing this stuff for 50+ years and sound as good today as they did when they first started out. He will no doubt go down in history as one of the true "greats" in the music industry. Rock on John.

We saw him in Toronto, Canada last Friday night. There are NO words to describe how awesome his music sounded even after all these years, the feeling of pure JOY in that place that night. He sounded so great and rocked it out for 2 1/2 hrs. I don't get this way about everyone, but he's always been one of my very favorites. HIS music will live in forever! So glad he has stayed true to himself and his music. Don't miss a chance to see him if you get one. It was an unforgettable experience!

Jesus. That was good. I felt so lucky, somebody got me backstage passes for him at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, stage facing probably 7-10,000 people, and I just wanted to hear one song. I mean, don't get me wrong, I wanted to hear ALL of his songs, but there was one song in particular. But I didn't know if, with all his material, there was any chance I'd get it. But when I slipped back-stage/side-stage, I was so close to him that I could see the set-list at his feet (it was in big print cause he was already in his late 60s), there it was, second song of the second set. And I was just giddy. And let me tell ya, I've seen a lot of amazing acts at that festival, The Allman Bros., Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood, Al Green, Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Herbie Hancock, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana at least half a dozen times, need I go on? And that, Fogerty's performance of this song, on a hot, hot day in New Orleans, with 7-10,000 people swaying along, that's a musical memory I will cherish til the day I die.

For those who don't know he put out a DVD of his live premonition concert in 2000 its very much worth watching, all songs are true to the originals, even has his big amp from the original Woodstock to lean near when he wants to bend notes for that eerie effect like in Suzie Q and I put a spell on you, a slick faultless performance of songs that affect the soul because theyre stories from his soul, thank you John.
