Always a fan of more CORVAIR content!! I’m glad the parts from the bad motor help the chop-top run better!! Stay warm!

Synce the carbs to match each other with air flow and throttle movement. That is allot of blow by but it runs!

Big Corvair guy here. Glad the carbs improved its running. It is really impressive that both sets of carbs worked as well as they have without pulling them apart. You are living right. And just an FYI you could order a Monxa with a 140hp 4 carb motor. The turbo 180hp motor was only available in the Corsa and the Spyder. Keep up the good work. 👍

I’m still blown away by how well this shop space came together. Both the shop side and the laser engraver side. I can’t wait for you to get a permanent space and see what you do with it.

Never get tired of seeing your Corvair. Working on my '62 Greenbrier Deluxe here in Cornwall, UK getting her ready for Run To The Sun 2025 in May. Great channel and wish you every success.

A permanently installed exhaust vent through the garage wall would be a nice little shop upgrade.

It's basically mandatory you get a rebuild kit from Clark's Corvair or some other reputable vendor and a Unisyn to synchronize those carbs, or you'll never get it right. It's not that complicated to do. Corvairs run like sweethearts once you dial them in, but will run like absolute trash with even minor issues in ignition or carburation. Also, other than reseal and cleanup/paint on the engine, don't bother doing much else with it. It sounds like it'll be pretty healthy and run fine. It has some blowby, but they all do with some miles. Unless it's just gutless after some touchups, don't bother messing with it. Rebuilding one of these engines completely the right way is VERY expensive.

FYI, you left the wingnut for the airbox on the rear deck of the white car. Just in case you want to keep that.

Consider installing an EFI setup similar to how Auto Anatomy did, or do ITB's ;)

How hard is that belt to find? I just spent a week finding a belt for Edna. Stock Flathead belt is to short since I converted from a generator to an alternator

Your bagged car needs a set of coilovers. Bagged cars just look like the suspension has collapsed.
