I did a mixture of this before. The tutorial shows clearly how important it is to have some space between the branches with leaves. I might also improve some of the trees on the picture that I'm painting now. Danke für die einfache Erklärung :)

Yes I'm definitely going to try it because I just acquired some acrylics and brushes. I know how to sketch very well but have never painted. This gives me the confidence to at least try.

Hi. You have made it look so simple, very informative especially the depth of the foliage with all the different tones. I stopped painting in 1971 after I dropped out of high school. I have been trying to figure out what was making them look so bad cause, the way you said to NOT paint them, was the way I was taught TO paint them long ago !!!
