More than anything, I am soo grateful that I have been in a generation that have not had war on my doorstep. To every one that took the step towards a United Europe, you have my eternal gratitude. My loveliest van voyagers,, thanks for the time and work you are putting down in these beautiful films. As always,, Cheers, Huge Hugs, take care and muuuuuch luv from the South East of Sweden,, 🍻🥰😎👍! I can help you with the Decathlon SUPS. Packed up, looks like a big rucksack/ began. So, about 30 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. The Paddle - Raise your arm fully in the air, and thst is how long you need to adjust your Paddle too. Stat off kneeling if you've not done it before. Shorten the Paddle too for this. Feet, shoulder width apart. Same with knees at first. 10ft 6 is a good length for open water/seas. Longer for touring.

This reminds me of when I visited Dachau and also Hiroshima. They have a certain atmosphere. There’s something eerie about it when you realise that so much evil was inflicted upon innocent people. When I was in Hiroshima particularly, and I’d finished looking around the museum where things like a young girl’s ruined school uniform, a kid’s tricycle and other things that had belonged to ordinary innocents like you and I, I sat by a statue of a mother shielding her child with her own body from the blast and I’m not ashamed to admit that broke me. Even thinking about it now brings tears. Humans do such cruel things to each other

Hi John & Mandy, Really enjoying following you on your travels and finding out all the ins and outs of travelling abroad fantastic, one question John did you ever experience a problem with dashboard instrument cluster, I have different lights come on buzzer sounds check breaks check passenger air bag all different combinations all momentarily the same thing happened on my last van so I was just wondering is it just a fault with the Fiat Ducato. If anyone would know it would be you. Anyway stay safe on your travels. Kind regards Noel

We have some random dim warning lights on when the cruise control is on, try turning the cruise stalk switch on & off to see if that’s the same issue, it’s a Fiat recall so you should be able to get it fixed easily.

We found it hard to spend money there, when I heard you say €20 a night I was dumbfounded, or am I just DUMB not sure lol. How have you found the various campsites and stop offs, trial and error or mega planning
@johnmandy3 жыл бұрын
We try not to plan anything in advance, the legal aspects of our travels are covered, but day to day routes evolve as we go. So finding campsites, water points etc. is done a day before we need them. Wild parkups we find as we drive, or we might have an idea of a parkup along our route. Our idea is to see more of the real countries we travel within, so we don't take motorways, we only stay on campsites to allow us to show you examples of campsites within the countries. Most of the campsites we have used we have shown in our videos, with more detail than i could write here.

It’s in the Highway Code that your dogs must be restrained when travelling so they can’t distract you - it’s worth a google for that to see. We always use a seat belt tether and harness for Coop when we’re driving as he can be a bit of a knob 😁😂
