Isolating a Record

I don't really get it. Why not save the record ID and just perform a find for that record? It's an old method so maybe that wasn't possible in earlier versions of FileMaker?

Jericho Good question. You’d have to create a field with an auto-enter of the Get(RecordID) formula to search the record ID and then the solution wouldn’t be abstracted and able to adapt to any table.
