This song helped my dying husband accept his impending death and to accept Christ and know that he'd be ok. That the Holy Spirit, God, the Father and Jesus Christ would take him and his soul up to the heavens and bring to him, the everlasting glory that was promised him. He was so tired from the pain and fight of cancer at age 32. I was tired and dying inside from knowing I was losing my cherished love. This song has helped me to know that my beloved Louis will always be with me and that I will meet him again when my lucky day comes when the Lord calls me home.

This was the song that helped me through a rough period in the pregnancy trauma unit when we didn't know if our fourth child was going to be born into the world or go straight to her Heavenly Father and Blessed Mother. That would have been a beautiful place for her but we selfishly wanted her here with us. Little miss Emma Grace is 20 now. Her two sisters Isobella Raine and Mary Therese went home to God and this song was a comfort in their passing. Thank you for accompanying me and being Jesus with skin on, through my dark nights of the soul. AMDG

Brother John Your songs have brought me so much comfort and encouragement. I use so many of your songs in my parish choir. I just love singing your songs because of the melodies, lyrics and depth of spirituality. They are scriptural, not like some contemporary choruses that have not root in our sacred scripture. This is one of the gems that I just encountered. I just teared at work. The main melody is so simple but the harmonies and the instrumentation together with the lyrics, carry so much depth. Thank you for so generously sharing with the world your music. May God bless you abundantly. From Singapore

Of all your wonderful songs, this one touches my spirit the most deeply. It captures the balm of healing within it itself and draws you to the One who heals - all at the same time. I want to rest here for it makes me rest here. This song gave me peace and help in a time where there was none to be found. I SO appreciate you brother and His gift you share

Such a precious precious meditation and song, dear brother. I remember first listening to it many years ago on Toubadour for the Lord. I also appreciate the background accompaniment. Like an angel. God bless you everywhere you go and make you a blessing to all you meet.

Hi JMT The Lord used this song to minister to my brokenness many years ago - It still ministers to a very deep place in my being. Jesus has been very good to me.. I am whole IN HIM and I now rejoice in my brokenness because it leads me into HIS perfection and wholeness this song had alot to do with my journey into HIM ... Thank you so much.

John, We have loved your music for years. During hard times, during what has been an extension of days, my wife and I enjoy "Come to The Quiet" as we drift into sleep each evening. Thank you for this rich blessing. Although "Healer OF My Soul" is not a part of "Come To The Quiet", we do find this lovely and peaceful rendition of this poetic prayer to be deeply moving. Someday we hope to visit you. Again, thank you for the blessing of your music. How deeply you have touched our lives.

We wonder what heals souls in time and place, past all we do and think and say and help bring us back to what credent thinkers had no idea about, as all wanted all they had and what we do is heal them. Prayers does it. Singing as well as this heals us, too and the hearing of God within of it. It transcends us and through us, heals a world. Thank you, Michael. Susan Mellott Dolan

Very nice. Have liked it for many years. Smooth, relaxing, and the bkg vocals have an almost angelic quality. The video seems to suggest several dozen people singing at the end. But listening carefully to the audio, it sounds more like one or two vocalists, perhaps with layering.

JM - you might want to check the spelling of your surname in the title and add an 'L' between the 'a' and the 'b' :o) Beautiful reflection btw. Pax, Brendan +
