Helped me to change my playing a little. When I see others play these songs differently than I learned them I appreciate it a bunch when you slow em' down like this. I'm just a hair better than bad but not by much, I'll keep with it... thanks

As a really basic beginner I liked the detail instruction and slow explicit demonstration …Thank you

Very helpful. Picked up on it fast. Perfect pace and lesson style. Not too slow or too fast, like other people who bore even beginners or leave them behind.

I enjoy your playing and lessons, but my 18 month old grandson stops whatever he's doing as soon as he hears you playing. We watch your videos often. Usually ending up with him dancing. Thanks

Aww that's really sweet. I'm really glad you two like the videos. I bet he's the flat-footin'est 18 month old out there.

Just picked up a banjo about a week / week and a half ago. These videos have been really helpful while I try and get set up with an instructor. Can you go over how to properly hold the banjo while playing? Mine did not come with a strap and I don't see anywhere to put one on and I find I am struggling to hold it well while still having the fingers free I need and also not hitting strings accidentally.
