Finally got myself an fm3, commenting to make sure I come back to this video when my fm3 arrives so I can use this tutorial as a guide. These tones are sick.

This is probably the best video I've ever seen on lead sound, really good sound and amazingly well played. Many thanks John for uploading this.

Very cool tones. Modelers rule the Verse, and Fractal is certainly one of the Kings.

Love the Suhr Strat! Best guitars I have ever played. That Triple Crest tone is very nice! Not something I would have thought to try. Thanks for this.

That is a pretty Slick Lick. And john Cordy is such the pull off master. I have never seen anyone do pinky finger pull offs like him. I love his Slides and Screams and the Chirping sounds he gets. He is just Unreal. One of the Most Expressive players I have ever heard. He would be my Pick for the NEXT Eric Johnson, if he had Eric's composing abilities, and I know John can Sing too, heard him on some old video he did. Phenomenal, that is all I can say. And like EJ he is Fluid on Piano too.There are alot of Great Players out there, but only 1 John Cordy and he shares it Daily on KZbin.

Brilliant video!! I much prefer the Mesa Boogie type amps for my pure lead tones. If you know how to dial them in, they are spectacular. Leon Todd has many excellent YTs about them. Well done, sir!

Yeah Leon has some great stuff. John has owned plenty of Mesa Boogie/engineering amps. And borrowed plenty too, He did suggest at the end of the video to check those out, as well as the Saldano stuff. John has mentioned Leon in a few of his G66 videos. Leon has shown some Cool Fm9 Axe stuff like using Pitch blocks for doubling sounds for like Iron Maiden or Boston type leads i found those videos quite interesting too.

Do you not take your FM3 to gigs because it is too big and heavy? I have one and it is a tank.
@johnnathancordy Жыл бұрын
I think the FM3 is quite nicely sized for gigs to be honest - maybe a bit chunky for a flyrig, but it's built like a painter's drill!
