If you struggle for the bare minimum in life like food, water, shelter, education and healthcare the YES, money buys happiness. Big time. If you have all of those needs met but can not afford other things you want like a car, nice TV or computer then also YES, money brings happiness. Not only that but it gives you the means to start making your own money (give a man a fishing rod... cliche here). After you have enough to more or less do whatever you want with no financial worry then that is when money cant fix your unhappiness. People without money are miserable. Nearly always. And like this guy said he found being rich more exiting when he had less money than he does now.
