It's so true, money DOES NOT make you happy. I would love to have the gifts he has - like freedom, passion and independence. I live in the 'dazzling' city of London, UK and am depressed My money has failed to make me happy as I sit trapped in my tiny flat with no yard for pets to roam free in. I would give my eye teeth to have this life by the sea!

Hi. Johnny is still alive working his fish traps in Arniston. I have known him since a child fishing along that coast. His knowledge of the coast is awesome. He is the last of the Strandlopers, coastal bushmen or Khoisan. He once showed me where his ancestors used to drink from an underground aquifer under the sea. You can only get to the fresh water when the tide goes out!
