It breaks my heart to know these people are all gone. But the older lady and Johnny Carson lived a full life.

Carson obviously loved having heartland folks on, and he always treated them with the greatest respect and courtesy.

I loved it when he'd have these segments with just everyday people instead of celebrities and politicians.

What a sweetheart Reminds me a little of the Legendary Lee Canady She is a tender and honest wise woman I will pray for America. Please pray for me. God Bless you. Johnny was the greatest of all time No one is better What a great exchange Johnny handled her with nuance and class and charm

She is a great example of a lady and one that is humble! So refreshing to see a lady with a strong sense of right and wrong, and respect for herself and others.

As a kid, more years ago than I want to admit, I stayed up with my grandmother to watch the tonight show. I remember one comment thst a guest made about being irregular and someone giving him a pill. And he said " it was amazing what happened ". My grandma laughed so hard but since I didn't know what irregular was I didn't find it funny!
