Yes, it was a full concert. The year before Johnny did a live concert from Flosom prison. Both institutions are in California.

Good reaction. I'm 10 years older than the senior member here so I remember when this and the other album "Live at Folsom Prison" came out. I could be mistaken but I think at the time, it was quite unusual for the stature of a performer like Johnny Cash to frequently entertain at prisons. It certainly fit his persona though as far as I know he was never a prisoner himself. And yes, Jailhouse Rock was a movie.
