Earl Zero had difficulty voicing the song he couldn't sing it properly, Johny Clarke voice the tune in one take. The tune was sent to Fatman in the UK and became a hit😎

Its said that Johnny Clarke was given alot of struggling artists music to sing over after when they left the studio after trying their hand at voicing their own records. The early days of reggae were corrupt....dishonest.

Who tell you that rumour???? Only tune that Johnny Clarke sing over cause a next man could not sing properly was None Shall Escape the Judgement. Look how much man sing I'm still Waiting by Bob Marley but Delroy Wilson made it famous. Earl China Smith wrote and sung Fade Away but Junior Byles made it famous.Ten to One by the The Impressions then by the Mad Lads on Studio 1, then a Rockers version by Johnny Clarke.Nuff tunes Johnny Clarke sing and artists get vex a very big exampleTenement Yard by Jacob Miller and Babylon Yard by Johnny Clarke Both were hits but it cause a Vibes sometimes artists are jealous of each other when a a fellow artist gets a hit.
