Johnny is the one that pays their salary and as Johnny said it's the fans that keep him employed. Everyone has love and hate inside them. Johnny has had alot of deep sadness, disappointment and loss in his life, yet wonderful friendships, experiences and talents too. I'm glad Johnny is hanging in there and can walk away feeling he did the best that he could. Everyone can break at some point, and can only deal with it in their own way. Johnny's love for Amber, to be abused by Amber, at his worst times, so she has the power, indicates how very cruel and messed up she can be. Amber tested him to see how much he'd take. He kept walking away when she escalated the arguments. He tried to fix her, with love, understanding & patience to a limit. I think his childhood played a role. Yes he self medicated, abused himself with excess but tried to keep his children & most friends out of the arguments. I have known abusers & they don’t usually care if the kids see it, or their buddies. I hope this case proves he was wronged.

The sad thing is that he died not that long ago. His name was Jerry Judge and he was not only Johnny's guard but most importantly his friend. After Jerry died Johnny basically dedicated a tour to him. He was wearing t-shirt with his face on it and singing a song for him every night. And he was telling a little story about him. Now Johnny has a tattoo showing his friend's face. Very moving story about these two. ❤
