I always assumed Johnny's band was a vanity project.. something to amuse himself between films. Pleasantly surprised he can actually sing and play guitar!! He is extremely talented. I hope he makes it through this very stressful time unscathed. He deserves to reclaim his throne.

We were so blessed. I met him at a premiere for Public Enemy No. 1. He is a gentleman. The bad guy is the good guy. And then, another member of the household met him (a different time, same year) at the VIP lounge, ORD-O'hare Airport. The same experience I had during conversation with him was the same observation the other person had with JD. Down to earth. Giving up his seat to an elderly. I was not surprised to hear that because I felt that is something he'd do. He reached out to the ones who need uplifting. God bless JD, especially now. May God protect him and keep his spirits up.

And yes does kick ass on guitar 🎸 as he’s been playing since he was 13. He taught himself after his mom bought him a $25 guitar shut himself in his bedroom and self taught himself to play.
