Thank you so much for posting this. There is something about the Hollywood Vampire's version of this song that never gets old. No disrespect at all to David Bowie either, he is a music legend for so many reasons. I can't pin point what the intangible quality is though that results from the unison of Johnny Depp, Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and that other guitarist on the far right with the red SG. This song has a magical quality to it that is really exemplified with this live performance. Jimmy Kimmel's free live concerts have been a blessing for a long time.

I have loved Alice since my teenage years, have seen Aerosmith many times, love David Bowie (RIP 💔🙏😢🌈), and now Johnny (who we all love) is so happy doing what he wants to do. This is not the right version of the song. Johnny really made it his own on another version of this, and it was in the Kimmel lot. I mean this is ok, but it's not the REALLY great version. I think they took it off KZbin, to be honest.

To begin, they are called barre chords, not bar chords. Second, it looks like he is doing a half barre (F shape, four highest strings) occasionally throwing in a bass string with his thumb. So, cut the crap. They are all very talented chaps that have earned a fair bit of money. So much in fact that Vinnie hasn't needed a day job in over 50 years. I'm inclined to cut these dudes some slack.
