I don't think he was interested in making this movie. He was loosing his beloved Jack character and waned to give it a shot at clearing his name with this horrible trial. Is sad to hear them fight , seen them just reminds me how far gone can a person be, buried deep head first in addction continously using. I kniw bc he marry a crazy woman. It established Grindelwald as a persuasive villain while also further telling the story of Credence, telling the story of Nagini, telling the story of Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s relationship, explaining why Dumbledore could not fight him, and much more. It was the story of Grindelwald, but it had much more than one story. That fact that you said Grindelwald, the person the movie was literally about, the person the story was about, added nothing to the story shows you just had a lack of comprehension. I’m sorry you didn’t like it, but claiming the person who the story is about added no value to the story is just ridiculous. It seems like you just didn’t understand the movie, or the story, at all.
