LIVE COVERAGE: Johnny Depp v Amber Heard Defamation Trial Day 3
Happening in court:
Day 4
Dr. David Kipper - Treated Johnny Depp
Debbie Lloyd - Johnny Depp’s Fmr. Private Nurse
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. There is a possibility of celebrity witnesses testifying, including James Franco and Elon Musk. Tune in to the Law&Crime Network for daily coverage of this high-profile trial.

The admonishment ends a nine-year investigation of Dr. David A. Let this not destroy him but make him stronger. He is willing to open up to the public his private moments of his life in order to clear his name, to say he is NOT and NEVER has been abusive. Johnny looks absolutely fantastic when he's well dressed and groomed and really lives up to the image we are used to - especially we who were born in the 1960s. Yes, he often looks unkempt and is a bit overweight, but not in his appearances in the courtroom. The reason can either be that he doesn't care too much about his looks or he does care and the scruffy style is what he prefers/what he feels best represents who he really is. Johnny is so captivating, interesting and talented, beautiful inside and out. I will continue to follow his career and hope he'll give us many more examples of his acting and musical skills. Most of all, I wish he finds the happiness and peace that he deserves.

@@DiamondDead This dr and his nurses have taken care of a LOT of high profile celebrities for at least a decade. That kind of stuff is probably just another day for them, not something they’ve engraved in their minds for 10 years. Do you think roadies remember every detail of tantrums among band members for years? Or text messages and emails? Nurses write a narrative to detail events BECAUSE memory fails over time. Every nurse is taught that legally “ if it isn’t documented, it didn’t happen.” That’s why she keeps saying “according to these notes” and verifying that she has no reason to believe the documentation is false.

Even in his literal trying to save his one life , she has to make herself the center of attention. Don't be so naive. Every addict blames 'an injury'. Because it sounds a lot worse when you say, 'I got hooked... because I enjoy getting high.' One makes you out to be a poor little victim, the other owns it. I'm not saying Depp is lying. But blindly believing something regarding addiction is crazy because it's so commonly lied about. That said, who cares... Ms. Heard stinks! And I hope Depp wins this case.

The nurse doesn’t recall specifics because it’s years ago and she’s had countless cases between that time and now. Nurses’ notes are written in narrative form because memory fails after time passes, but the notes stand as documentation of the event. I’ve had a couple who threw chairs at each other several years ago, which was shocking at the time, but I couldn’t tell you now what it was about or what was said now. It doesn’t surprise me that she can’t recall specifics about the incidents. But her notes were written at the time of the events.

@jamiedominy4552
@jamiedominy4552 2 жыл бұрын
@@DT4evrK030 I understand what you are saying. What I am saying is that it doesn’t matter if she did or didn’t review her notes. If she didn’t document it in the first place, she can’t add it now. So she can’t really testify to anything she remembers now that wasn’t documented at the time. Any half-smart lawyer could shred both the nurse’s credibility and the accuracy of the entire chart, based on “new and convenient memories.” The nurse could only verify her documentation. I expected that from a professional. BUT I also would expect a professional nurse to document much more completely than what’s been presented in court.

Johnny has had substance "issues' for a very long time and that is a fact. The only time he was basically clean was when he was with Vanessa (mother of his kids) in France. He was living a relatively quiet life with his family , making movie there and there , but away from it "all". When he decided to move back to LA and took his family with him, demons came back. Vanessa left, took kids with her and it started. Even though it was a "friendly" split, I'm sure all parties were hurt at the time. Johnny met Amber in 2009, Vanessa left in 2012 and Johnny and Amber "officially" started dating in 2012. Do the math. Big mistake on Johnny's part. Woman to woman- I know Amber’s type.. she thinks she can do anything and get her way because of her looks. She’s narcissistic and manipulative and I wish Johnny would’ve thought with the right “head”. Most guys don’t and certain girls know how to exploit that.. It’s shame it’s come to this. Personally, if she is guilty, and I believe she is, I hope karma kicks her a*s.

I wish I could say the same. I've been talking truth for 10 years but he has all the money and power. It hits hard when you realize most people will take the money over truth. They look the other way and stay on his good side. Even court "professionals" are worse than you could imagine. Their oath goes right out the window.

I'm no Depp fan, but I give him credit for letting the details of his struggle to achieve sobriety be exposed to the world. It us all so typical of the disease of addiction, rich or poor. Trust me, the nurse understands much of it is just rambling from the person fighting the beast of addiction. It is a beast I have fought myself. I hate it!

It is pertinent to his volatile temperament, which in turn might apply to a lack of impulse control. I am more on Mr. Depp's side in this case, but people with bipolar dIsorder can be very difficult to live with, especially when they are self medicating during their grandiose periods.
