People say that Amber was badly treated on social media and that it was not right, but when someone blatantly tells such obvious lies to the face of the world, it's a downright insult to people's intelligence. Can we stop treating abusive women like victims? She's not being vilified. She did it to herself. People have every right to give her backlash after she abused multiple people and lied about one of her victims abusing her. For 6 years Johnny Depp was being vilified and none of the people that feel bad for Amber Heard felt bad for him. She's getting the backlash he once got over her lies. The "messy on both sides" narrative needs to go. She would routinely hit while he only ever fought back a few times when he couldn't run away. That doesn't mean they were both toxic or abusive like some say. A victim having negative reactions to their abuser doesn't mean they're abusive or toxic too. It's clear that what Johnny Depp did was a response to what she was putting him through

I am SO thankful that Judge Penny allowed cameras in the courtroom. Otherwise none of us would have known the real truth. The media would have twisted the truth as usual and continued their attacks on JD (just like they are now) and we would have had no way to confirm or deny if the evidence was or wasn't on his side. Johnny won in the court of public opinion because we were all able to hear his side and see all the evidence for ourselves. He went into this with a huge disadvantage and Amber had a lot of support. It really speaks volumes that a large majority of the millions of people (including the jury) who watched the trial from start to finish supported and believed Johnny by the end. It was a much deserved win and Camille definitely earned her promotion. She is an extremely talented attorney.

She didn't just admit to hitting him, she was putting Xanax (and who knows what else in his drinks and food). On one audio you can clearly hear her waking him up from a deep sleep to make him take a Xanax telling him that he " needed it to calm down". If JD had died it would have appeared he'd ODd when in fact he was murdered. I'm tired of people saying JD isn't perfect, who is? He is a kind hearted soul who never lifted a finger against her despite her repeated attempts to goad him into doing exactly that so she would have evidence to blackmail him with. She and her grifter friends, who had lived rent free in JD's gorgeous penthouses in the ECB for years, planned the set up of JD upon his return home. AH is heard speculating on the audio as go whether she should hit him over the head with a heavy glass ashtray and say it was in self defense. No doubt in my mind she was planning his demise. She found out he had left everything to his two children in his will and instead she came up with this hoax to get money out of him for her and her grifter lowlife friends to continue to live rent free in those penthouses with JD paying all the bills as well as paying her $600k a year and cars. OôR she was going to lie and present him with a TRO publicly at the Alice in Wonderland premier. JD had the sense to walk away, get a legal team together and fight for his name which she dragged through the mud for six years. She is a scam artist and truly despicable person. She should be in jail for what she's done and continues to do. NBC and CBS continue to lie on her behalf. One day they'll have to be apologize to JD publicly for their lies. Meanwhile all these entities are now subject to boycott by me, my friends and relations and millions of others. I'll be never trust a word from mainstream media again. There's the truth no matter how inconvenient it is for your cause. The truth is men are victims too and no, not all women should be believed. That could have been your story, instead you support bc an abuser and continue to destroy a good man's name.

The media says that she was treated unfairly and it’s a shame that we didn’t believe her but the thing is Amber Heard was believed, when she first started making these horrendous allegations PEOPLE BELIEVED HER ( so much so that Johnny depp was demonized and cut from movies)!!!!!! She had a a whole movement to support her (Me too) she became a representative for domestic violence, a JUDGE granted her a restraining order ( for a bruise that mysteriously appeared 6 days after she saw Depp). It’s not like she wasn’t taken seriously, SHE WAS! But unfortunately for her the overwhelming evidence showed that SHE was the ABUSER! And I’m completely fine with a domestic violence survivor coming forward and somehow doesn’t have evidence, but she was claiming HORRIFIC acts of violence and she had no evidence of any of that? I’m sorry…but its impossible that she had her feet sliced up and raped with a bottle which she claims made her bleed and she was the next day catching a flight looking completely fine (not walking weird or anything)… She says she had 2 black eyes, broken nose, split lip, missing hair…the next day she is on the James Corden show? It just doesn’t seem believable! And I hate seeing the media pushing this ridiculous narrative!! All a woman needs is the right to a fair hearing, she had that! People need to understand that women sometimes do lie! And Amber Heard certainly did in my view! Her Op-ep tittle should be: Amber Heard: I LIED about sexual violence - and faced our culture’s wrath.

This was like watching a backhanded compliment to Camille Vasquez & the team. They won a case that was very much am uphill battle. The "both sides" narrative after Gail herself stated Johnny Depp won legally is plain wrong. It is just as insulting to our intelligence as Ms Heard & her lawyers claims they only lost because of Depp fans. It shouldn't be impossible to discern that the publics opinion was based off of the evidence & the trial just as the jurors was. After all, that is what lead to Ms Heard being found liable for defamation, including her own evidence proving her countless lies & inconsistencies. If people feel she's a villain it's because she showed & proved herself to be one. If the roles were reversed the media would be up in arms talking about how terrible she's being treated. Yet, this & other mainstream outlets are failing to recognize their own hypocrisy on the matter. Johnny Depp was abused by Ms Heard & her continued attempts to, as she stated, " Be a part of the Johnny Depp show.", could very well be considered continuing abuse. After all, she testified that all she wanted was to move on while he's the only one actually doing that. Social media attacks are disgusting and neither "side" should participate in such nonsense. But to rightfully condemn that they needed to mention her fans have had people swatted, filed false police reports, set up bot attacks & more that's far beyond social media drama with the evidence to prove it.

Wow Gail , I honestly can't say that I'm shocked about you saying that Amber has been made out to be a villain and blah blah blah blah blah. You know why she's being shown in that light because it really takes a very disgusting and sadistic human being to do what she did and she Amber Heard should be very ashamed of herself and honestly she should make a public apology to Johnny Depp, his family, and his fans for all the horrific things that she did .

@Elana maybe that’s the code where you come from but decent men know and abide by a code that it is never ok to strike a woman. They know they have the physical strength to restrain her if necessary and they know their blows are going to hurt her more that is why “real men” don’t hit women! That is a fact that even Depp knows because he denied repeatedly under oath hitting her. Not even once in so called self defense or because she struck him first. He denied it in court but not once in all those recordings do you hear him deny hitting her because he did. Except you don’t care because you think she deserved it.

@@arielmcgillacuddy6640 Not once in those recordings did he deny hitting her, because not once in all those recordings, (and there are around 12 hours available not played to the cour)t did Amber Heard EVER ACCUSE HIM OF HITTING HER. There are several hours of her saying sorry for hitting him, sorry for chopping his finger off (yes its all on tape, but was not allowed in court because there are other people in the conversation), but it is in the public domain for anyone to listen to. Not once, in all her ranting and screaming on those recordings did she scream you hit me, you raped me, you broke my nose and gave me two black eyes and a burst lip several times, NOT ONCE. She didn't say it in those recorded arguments, because it didn't happen. The previously sealed documents have been released today, her own counsellor Dr Anderson said Amber admitted to starting physical fights, especially if JD tried to leave, she would deliberately hit him to stop him leaving, and she took great pride in this. That is NOT the actions of a victim.
