The duet version of this song is like "Bonnie and Clyde Last Stand - The Musical": imagine them in an isolated cabin, surrounded by cops, having their last night, defiantly claiming their love before the morning assault and their glorious epic death. The 1970's original is of a man chased for killing his loved one and is, to my taste, less appealing.

Hi guy. This song is the the story of a man who has just killed his wife and the police is surrounded his house....the original song is just sung by Johnny. It's a monologue to the police.... i killed her for love, i am ready to die, shoot me etc... on this stage, lara is like the ghost of the wife
