Lara's microphone sound was at maximum (it resonated..) and Johnny's was lower.. It was Johnny who asked for it to be done like that. Lara was his guest at the Stade de France and he wanted her to demonstrate her vocal power and shine. Lara herself confirmed it. Johnny in all his generosity... Know that Johnny was a vocal power too but on this last interpretation he did not want because it was done on purpose, Johnny was very intelligent in doing that to make the song more dramatic and show their acting on this magnificent song that belongs to him. The desired goal was the dramatic side of the singing all in power but less than Lara (Johnny) with at the same time next to him a more striking singing power (Lara) and the passionate play between the two. Everything was imagined by Johnny himself to end the last interpretation in style. A masterpiece, perhaps the most beautiful duet in the world..🎉💥

Une légende... 57 ans de carrière. Pratiquement 1300 chansons en totalité.. A ce jour il à vendu plus de 111 millions d'albums, c'est énorme !! Alors imaginez s'il avait fait une carrière internationale... Il à réunie plusieurs générations. Il à réunie les riches, les moins riches et les pauvres. Il a chanté avec plusieurs grandes stars internationales. Il a chanté en plusieurs langues différentes. Etcccccc En écoutant ses chansons vous vous rendrez compte que ce très grand chanteur était capable de tout chanter.. Il y en a pour tout les goûts, rock'n'roll, rockabilly, blues, country, variété française, un album d'opéra rock (Hamlet), etccc. Une voix unique.. Sa voix n'a fait qu'évoluer au fil des années, elle est devenue de plus en plus puissante et précise.. Johnny on peut le comparer aux plus grands chanteurs au monde ! Il a fait de nombreux concerts exceptionnels, des entrées folles comme au Parc des Princes en 1993 en rentrant par l'arrière du stade en passant au milieu de la foule 3 soirs de suites (personne n'avait fait ça avant lui) et il l'a refait en 2013 à Bercy, en 1998 il arrivait en hélicoptère au dessus du Stade de France, en 1984 au Zénith il sortait d'une main géante (Un mur à dû être cassé pour pouvoir passer la main au dessus de la scène, en 2012 au Stade de France il arrivait dans une boule volante géante ressemblant à une mine, qui s'est posée sur scène, etcccccc. Love The Shining hint "Here's Johnny!". Johnny Halliday was the man who gave The Jimi Hendrix Experience their first opportunity to go on tour. Their first live performance occured on October 13 1966 in Évreux (Normandy, France) as an opening act to a Johnny's concert. This guy being a legend is an understatement in the Francophone world and even if I'm not a fan of him I must admit the cat was a stage freak.

The reference was not from The Shining. The Shining example was in itself a reference to Jonny Carson who was introduced every night on the Tonight show with... "Heeeere's Johhny!!!"

@@hornerinf Sorry, I'm too much of a French ass to know about the original Johnny Carson show reference even if I know his name without knowing the man or his legacy, but I think Hari also doesn't know about it too... so I think we can call it a zero score game since you taught me (and probably Hari too because he's probably too young to know about Johnny Carson (who stopped his show in 1992, Hari wasn't probably born at this time) but old enough to know about Stanley Kubrick's movies) something I didn't know...

You were spoiled this week with my two idols, 4th Impact with LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN and Lara Fabian with REQUIEM POUR UN FOU. Thank you for having such good taste in your performance choices.

hello, Johny Hallyday is dead now, and was a show master in France, rocky voice well known, and you add to him Lara Fabian with NO AUTOTUNES , just real singing, real singing, the magic of a real voice, a great singer with singing techniques mastered to perfection I have few things to say about this video. Some people can think the gestures are exaggerated. You have to put in context. This is a live concert in a stadium with 90 000 peoples, in a rainy day. You have to do this, so anyone can get the message.
