i contacted johnny about lessons once. He lives the next town over. He got back to me with his rate, said i could even video tape the lesson. He only asked that i never post the video anywhere.

@@MrC9Oh3 I copied this from his email (almost 3 years ago). Maybe he changed his policy since then My lessons are $150 and usually last from 90 minutes to two hours. You're more than welcome to video the lesson, as long as it doesn't end up on KZbin or the Internet. All you would need to bring is your guitar, and something to record the lesson with.

@@MrC9Oh3 no, that's cool, not awesome... Whats awesome is this: first July 4th after we moved here went to the local shopping center /cinema complex. There was a band setting up under a tent on the parking lot. I thought, jokingly, to myself "hey its Johnny hiland"...took about 8 seconds Into the set and I was like fuck, I ain't in Kansas no more 😂 lol
