@Championdjk with new releases from this series are they all old Auto world deluxe castings? Also what is your take on the other JL tin model quality control? It's funny that AW did decide to redistribute the old deluxe castings just in packs.

Thanks for the video. I just ordered my case from 3000 toys. Those El Camino’s are awesome and spot on. I hate to be nit picky but they could have put different wheels on the mustang as they are 80’s firebird wheels also mustangs of that era should only have 4 lugs per wheel and the Camaro has Monte Carlo ss wheels. I get they are only using wheels already in inventory but they have plenty to choose from. Then again it didn’t stop me from buying a case. Looks like there’s a lot of good Johnny lightning coming out in the new year it’s going to be hard and expensive trying to keep up.

Johnny Lighning has some very nice castings, the reason why i dont buy them is, that they are not in scale 1/64. If they change it, i will buy some.

The original AW Mustang looks better. Better stance and better wheels. I dont like the tin series. They are pricey and the tin is useless - I worry the car will come loose and bang against the metal side. That said, cool to see the tools back.

Thanks for the video. I hate to say it but the Deluxe Auto World series are better than the Johnny Lightings. The Johnny Lighting series has a lot of quality control issues that makes this release disappointing. All the cars I received in the Tin series has an uneven stance. The cars lean too far to the left which suggests there are flashing issues that was not corrected at the factory. I’m very disappointed as the models are more expensive than the Auto World current releases. If you are going to charge top dollar for the addition of a metal base and rubber tires then make sure the retrofit process are as good as the original model.

It's a win-win situation in my opinion because I don't like the plastic base and wheels on the Auto World Deluxe version and I don't like the fact that JL are usually undersized. This is the perfect solution.
