Because the evolution of showbusiness has expanded the demand for what used to be just simply talent to a more whole packaged sellability. Idolism is about selling the artist and now more and more talent has come in that just talent isn't enough, you have to have an entertaining social media presence, a personality that's relatable to teens and adolescents, and it helps to have a great figure or an iconic look. Sadly vocal prowess isn't enough anymore to sate the hunger of the public whose taste for music have been entangled with their taste of brand.

I love this duet and heard it so many times…and again and again. Guy is so underrated and i think nobody knows him here in Germany. But his voice is like s** for the ears. He’s brillant … specially this duet. Did you check „Choir“?

Johnny Manuel is originally from Flint, Michigan, United States. Johnny has been a performer since childhood, touring with NSYNC at the age of 14. His performance of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" on America's Got Talent in 2017, where he eventually reached the Semi-Finals after getting the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Seal, accumulated over 270 million views on social media. After America's Got Talent he released two singles, "Come Alive" and "Blind Faith" and began working on his debut album with Symphonix International. He was also a finalist on the ninth series of The Voice Australia.

Bro i feel that, Guy is unbelievable. Johnny is ridiculous too, his audition he sang "Home" but did the Whitney houston version, and its NUTS.... and im sure you know by now... i LOVE whitney ! So if im complimenting a cover, you know its good.. He also did "A change is gonna come" and did the jennifer hudson version from the Denzel tribute, in the live shows. Another ridiculous vocal. He' a beast Both performances are quite short, would love to see you react to both.

Johnny's voice is insane.Nailed each and every performance.I think the problem was that he didn't have a large fan base like Chris.For starters he had just moved to Australia and Chris is Australian and Guy's brother.That gets him fans...This is ofcourse assuming people there vote the same way as people do in the US where a contestant sort of either has a stronghold which is their home town or not.Chris was good but Johnny was spectacular.
