Only the greatest voices in the history of the world, as Mr. Mathis's, can bring you to tears and send chills down your spine. ❤

I can't believe how audiences were so "staid" (is that the right word?) in their response to some artists. Here is a true artist whose voice has captivated several generations and produced countless recordings. I would have been on my feet yelling "Bravo"!!!

There's a video of Johnny singing this medley at Royal Albert Hall in London, and even years later, you can't tell the difference in renditions. His remarkable voice sounds exactly the same, as if he's singing this for the first time. That's why he's the Legend he is!!!

Wasn't this on the Jack Benny show? Seems that's what I remember. Dulcinea is one of the most beautiful songs he's ever recorded.

A Great rendition. A good looking guy in his younger years as well. I never heard the other songs from Man From La Mancha. Only " The Impossible Dream". Considering this was at the heights of the civil rights movement, this tune must have really hit home for Johnny. I did not know he was one of Nat King Cole' s pall bearers.
