Honestly, the difference between Johnny and Mark is that Mark gets a bit flustered while speaking but Johnny is actually a very good communicator. He knows how to handle things in a panicky situation or handle controversial question. This i got to know during 2019 NEO CITY tour because A LOT of weird interviews happened with NCT 127 but dude, the way Johnny handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.

They are both good with languages in different ways. As you said, Johnny is good in communication. He's also witty, he brings humor when everyone is getting too serious in interviews. On the other hand, Mark has a wide vocabulary and is a good writer too.

Johnny's English is so elegant when he speak. he inspired me so much to speak English especially with an accent. I get so shy when I try to speak English with locals in an accent cos our society's perception this person is trying to show off. I know Johnny is a native speaker but he never loses his accent when speaking English in Korea. it's so different in my country, people would make fun of us who have an accent. but in Korea, people are proud of you for speaking English with an accent

Mark and Johnny mostly differ because Mark is a more of a "Uh like um" person and Johnny speaks in a more confident way. That is; as if he has a firm hold on his words and completely has the knowledge of what he's speaking about. There's a huge difference between writing and speaking English and more common than it's acknowledged, people who are actually native speakers and are fond of English can also make mistakes. It depends on how confidently you're speaking because clear sentences gets your mind to know what it is and will say next.
