Such a cool story song. I loved this. "Ah hell, he can't hear..." You have to hear "A Boy Named Sue" and another by Johnny "One Piece At A Time."

@@greeneyelove2003 classic might be a stretch because I have a very high bar for that(the dance, he stopped loving her today, etc etc) but it's definitely amongst the best humor songs

"Take this job and shove it" is another fun Johnny Paycheck song. You definitely have to do "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash. I am surprised you haven't had a lot of votes or a bribe for that one yet.

Except “Take This Job and Shove it” is David Allen Coe’s song, like many that are his and credits given to somebody else.

So glad y’all did this one!! Paycheck is an amazing “storyteller”/classic OG. He’s really known for his songs “Shove It” & “Old Violin”, but “The Outlaw’s Prayer” is one I really think y’all would enjoy as well. Great review, loved watching y’all’s facial expressions as the story unfolded lol!! Definitely have to listen to “A Boy Named Sue” for sure, Dustin!

Too funny. Never heard this one before. I think he sings that old song 'Take this job & shove it' too. LOL For a 'naughty' hilarious song, by Toby Keith, very few people know & probably does not have a video other than him singing it live. The song is 'Get out of my car' & beyond funny... and dirty.

Paycheck was a real country outlaw and a great story teller through song. Many great songs were recorded by him including my personal favorite 'Someone to Give My Love To'. His recording of the David Allen Coe song 'Take This Job And Shove It' was one of the biggest hits of the 1970's. It was later, in the early 90's, that he spent time in prison for shooting a man in the head in a bar(although not fatally). Sadly, Paycheck died penniless and there was no money to even pay for his funeral. It was George Jones that paid his funeral expenses and provided his burial plot. He's buried in good company though, within eyesight of his undoubtedly true to the end friend George Jones' own grave in the Jones Family plot.

Paycheck is one of the original outlaws. He has some fun and raucous music , but also some pensive somber tunes as well. "Old Violin" and "Outlaw's prayer" are great examples. My personal favorite is "11 months and 29 days".

Used to go to the "Yamaha Beach" 200 back in the day when manufacturers produced one-off bikes made of Unobtanium just to win Daytona. It was that prestigious. I was there the year King Kenny finally won it. A "never forget" memory is that first time the field came out of turn 4 at full song past the grandstands. Every hair on your body stood up. Speeds got so high that they finally put a chicane in the back stretch fashioned from hay bales. Wide World Of Sports included a clip of a rider who high sided into the bales in its "Thrill Of Victory and Agony of Defeat" intro. The 2022 full race is on KZbin. Some good racing again. 1 & 2 were 0.007 sec apart. Top 4 finished within 0.69. (Been to the Rolex once. Got video, never uploaded. Cool event. Night time on the infield was kinda surreal. Sights and sounds, windows for viewing work in the garages, live music, race cars on the infield track, vintage race cars on display - Porches campaigned by 5 time winner Hurley Haywood, etc. Early in the race I noticed that all 3 identical Ford GTs entered Turn 1 with an identical throttle blip and down shift. So much so, I looked into it. Yep. Computer aided. smh. )

Yeah South Texas is not a real good place to decide you're going to be a big man cuz you're somebody who's going to be little and fast and mean as hell. This was a great reaction guys I was laughing so hard at you two fools that I couldn't even breathe. I really enjoyed it.
