John was one of the very best of FIVE GREAT country singers made. and the other four where his great friends and two of them have gone to meet him in the heaven and the other two will meet up with him soon! Willie and Darrell will meet him again and they will all play and sing for the GOOD LORD and Heaven will be full of country music, real country music. It's amazing that none of the Five where doing business in Nashville. They didn't seem to fit in.........RIP JOHN and will see you someday soon!

John, I have cried a million tears or more but they won't bring ya back to me as you'd be here if they would! All the tours we did together, song's we wrote together, sharing a stage together, and our times and the adventures we had just hurt's me worse and I won't ever take off what you gave to me as it's all I have that means anything to me now as I miss you so and will never understand why far too young you had to go, but I hope your now getting the accolades that 16th ave. never seemed to give although you deserved um! I guess I will spend my time like this, as I can see ya having fun! I will say this old world once was so much better place with you in than it will ever be without you! All my love be with you now!

LilyLeila, I was at the show that they taped and I have a copy of it and I watch it almost once a month at least. It was as good as it gets. The other great video was at the Ryman and he sang Apartment # 9, man, that was a killer song for him. That was the very best performance of that song, " Just follow, the stair case.".........wow, You should find it on you tube and put that in your library .
