Also, my cousin met him at a book signing, she adored him! She was in the late stages of ovarian cancer, she told him how much his performances helped her, he took special time to hug her and pose for photos with her and her partner. What a kind person.

This old lady could watch Johnny skate every day. While a Bronze medal is quite an achievement, I would have liked to see him get a Gold that he deserved. He not only shows us his exceptional skating skills but he also incorporates personality/ character into his skating. With him, you're not only looking for the skating skills but his ability to charm us. What a privilege to have been able to see him @ Bryant Park.

dearest johnny weir you inspire me every day im a dancer who doesnt fit the mould . my mother said that your too creative to fit the standard mould thats why your so special and thats what ive always seen in you mister weir .... we have to create our own space in the end i guess and im ok with that now its a hard journey though the knowing of oneself but its so worth it in the end .... i just love watching you figure skating or dancing as i call it . its profound to me and i thank you for your precence in our lives.
