I don't think the commentators were giving him enough credit here. I really enjoyed this and felt the passion :P but then, I am a little biased towards Johnny ;) It's hard to tell whether it's more of a difference of opinion and that fact everyone was supporting Evan more after Johnny's performance at Torino

Wow i got to come here because of yuzuru hanyu, but i see that a lot of his movement and gestures are quite similar to Yuzu's. Yuzu seems really influenced by him. Amazing performance.

I love the music to this program. Better than most of today's EDM.

Johnny is far better than Evan even in his lower times. Evan doesn't even look like a skater he's too rigid & mechanical Johnny is real & flawless & glides over the ice he has personality & charm & a reality about him & how he presents himself

yeah the commentator was right about the footwork.. his speed was nice, but what level did it get? pretty fantastic anyway, great music to use!

Like this SP. He had more energy than I've seen him skate with in a long time, but he's rather introverted in his performances, considering the fact that hes rather flamboyant in his regular life.

I feel like this program was done to shut up all the criticism about his skating style. The commentators in this video are so aggravating...it’s so irritating to see how they associate masculine skating with being powerful. They were trying to fit him into a box of what they thought a male skater should be. This performance is painful to watch because this doesn’t seem like he enjoyed himself.

I believe he and Evan tied for 1st place. Evan blew him away in the free to win.

Masculine? Geez ...bringing out the masculinity in the music and his style...

They were trying to keep him in the closet. It's a shame because I think he was often underscored. He's always been a phenomenal athlete and artist.

Not nearly. His SP's from 2004, 2005, and 2006 were all better.

I don't feel Johnny in this program. Too constructed, he nailed all the required elements but it lacked his usual passion and emotion. Too " text book"!
