Although the original intent for the SAW was a Vietnam analogue, I think it also works as the game's equivalent to the Korean War. (Conflict over a mix of wide open and extremely hilly terrain, southern government backed by a UN/NATO style organization, massive infantry zerg rushes combined with aerial dogfights and bombardments, North becomes a brutal totalitarian hellhole etc). Plus the Post-Colonial Conflicts if the Mandates fail and/or Huttig goes completely batshit.

@@MM-jn7nb Honestly its more realistic that way. The South African War is supposed to mirror OTL's Vietnam war. South Vietnam was completely helpless without US aid, so it makes sense to do the same with South Africa.

@@restitutororbis964 There is a major diffrence though, in this the USA cant put hundreds of thousands on the ground in South Africa normaly (Unless they do some stuff the AI never does with its divisions) so SA normaly loses. It should at least have a chance at survival for the AI and be a bit easier for a player.
