My 2006 g35 coupe takes 20 gallons so it cost me around 60$ to fill it up when it was around 3.17$ but right now it is more probably 4$ or more for premium. I am at college so my car is at home. Haven’t filled it up since august

I have a 2019 370Z 6MT with the sport pkg and love the car. Like you, I fill it up with Shell Nitro V-power 91 and am paying $5.24 per gallon, ouch. My gas tank capacity is 19 gals and I drive about 250 miles per week. The car does put a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I have a Z in Florida and always fill up at Costco. Saves me $8 bucks compared to other places when I fill up at 1/4 tank left. Total for 3/4 to fill is around $35 rn. That 3/4 lasts me like 175 miles because I accelerate fast a lot and stay at higher speeds. I also drive around city mostly. 93 octane

Here lately I’ve been looking at these old cars. I have a super low mileage 8th Gen Civic Si, and last week after work a 350Z beat me off the light and now they’ve got me curious. Not that my Civic Si is an off the light car, but that Nissan was really quick and sounded great.

That fuel fill issue is the fuel pipe needing replacement! If you ignore it it will eventually develop a hole in the pipe!so get it done asap!

I’m planning on getting a 350z, hopefully soon. I daily a 2012 I4 Tacoma and it just eats up gas no matter if I baby it. Honestly trucks weren’t built for daily commuting no matter the engine. I spend around 120 to 140 bucks a week as I do deliveries for a living with this truck.

I haven't calculate this exactly but at the track I had a half tank and after two sessions it was bone dry almost ran out on the track so what's that about eight gallons to go 40 miles at 4 to 6K RPM.

16mpg is pretty much normal on the Stang if it’s mainly city driving. If it makes you feel better, i have a friend who has a 19’ Mustang GT and averages 8-10 mpg which is atrocious lol. Then again, his GT tuned and he’s always doing pulls

Premium doesn't have more power than regular. That's a common misconception and it's actually quite the opposite. The only reason premium is ever used in any car is to prevent predetonation and engine pinging. 1 gallon of premium has less energy than 1 gallon of regular. The higher the octane the less combustible the fuel is and therefore is less likely to predetonate under higher compression loads. People always assume because fast cars, sometimes, require premium that premium is faster or better. The truth is if you run regular in those cars and they pre-detonate bad enough it can blow your engine and that's the only reason premium is required. There's many newer sports cars with direct injection that no longer require premium even with higher compression. I believe the Mazda skyactive engine was one of the first to be high compression with direct injection. These direct injection systems eliminate the possibility of predetonation by rapidly injecting the fuel at a specific time instead of having the fuel injected and compressed being subject to possible predetonation from the friction. Basically, if your car doesn't require premium then you're not helping anything by running it unless you just happen to have a gas station that has 100% no ethanol as premium only. I'm not sure why more stations do not have 100% no ethanol as regular grade because that should be the primary fuel purchased and sought for. Which I believe all this stems from people believing premium has more energy because it's used in fast cars.

hey so ive ran into the problem before of the fuel gauge not read correctly, mine personally was the fuel gauge/ pump sensor inside the actual fuel pump, I replaced mine and that was the issue for me, it can also be the the gauge on the dash not reading right apparently which requires a whole new gauge which expensive IMO so always try to check the reader in the pump first and go on replacing that

3.50 a gallon in texas, and yea the location of the washer fluid tank is in the worst place.. catching the sand and gravel from front passenger tire. My 07 350z HR scrapes on almost everything... ripped the front bumper off on the interstate almost 2 weeks ago. Also always use premium in vq35
