It's easy to forget when watching matching like this at the absolute top-level of competition that players will miss shots or miss a hit on the ball because they're playing near limits. Like, they're working with razor's edge precision in their mechanics and decision making while playing at top speed. It makes sense that they would have moments where they miss that knife's edge by a hair, but it's wildly impressive how often they balance on it.

Can anyone high level explain to me what Johnny is talking about with the whole back post concept? I sincerely think going back post is often the play to go for as second man on defense and i'm gc1ish so I honestly don't know what he is talking about except for maybe if you know your tm8 is high level enough you can expect him to get a good 50 or challenge on defense and you should position yourself more based off that as opposed to trying to go back post as a safety net for if your tm8 gets a bad 50 or gets completely beat

you will be hard stuck gc1 if you dont start rotating near post and cutting rotation intentionally. Players are getting too good at that rank that you can’t give them so much space.

You should start getting to the point where you can tell who’s gonna win a 50 regardless of how good your teammate is just simply based off reading the play and seeing how each car is approaching the ball. That’s a good indicator for knowing when to stay in the play

if you're in net looking out at the field, when the ball is to your left, being on the left goalpost means front post, and right is back post. "Back post" is the goal post opposite the ball, front post means being basically in front of your goal since you're way off to the side where the ball's coming from. A lot of people recommend for lower ranks to rotate back post cause it's easier to boost forward to save a shot rather than having to backflip, half flip, or reverse to go backwards somehow "rotations" just mean how you position yourself on the field. When the player in front goes for the ball, they go back to net or get boost and the next player goes for the ball. From a top down view, it looks like your team is rotating around the field as a group. "rotating back post" just means when you get back to net after making a play on the ball, stay far back to the side away from the ball, hence you rotate to the back goal post, or "back post"

Backpost rotation needed on lower ranks :D main reason they don't rank up because they leave goal open too often. Rotate too early away of the goal and then its open. People need to understand when to go backpost or front and or backwall or even side wall. 3vs 3 situation when 2 is on the field and try to defend 1 needed allways force the ball. Low or high. They just rotate straight to middle fck flipping there and mess up position and be stupid. Don't be stupid its fck simple. Try to find like gc players and make a friend with them. They tell you why you are so stupid if you are champion and below
