Agreed. He was so polite, while also keeping the audience entertained. King of late night. Dave was funny to a point, but also too crude and arrogant. Jay Leno would be second best, imo. Conan is hilarious, but just didn't have what Johnny had in being an entertainer, interviewer, and host. Jimmy Fallon is great at skits, but just not the best host compared to the King or Jay Leno. I didn't like all the fighting and bittnerness between the hosts after Johnny. Dave's bitterness towards Leno, then Conan's bitterness really surprised me as he already had the opportunity of a lifetime that made him a mulitmillionaire.

Maybe, maybe not. His first marriage of 13 yrs ended soon after a hate filled news article reported his wife was black. It was vehemently denied at the time, though, it was recently admitted that she was of mixed race. There's a documentary about his first marriage on Amazon. Also, his first wife published a book of love letters they wrote to each other while he was in the Air Force for 3 years. They married soon after his return and went on to have 4 daughters. He wrote the song I Walk the Line for her.

Piano player in Johnny Cash's band looks like Elton John lol. I'm not a big country music fan, but whenever I see and/or hear Johnny and June sing "Jackson" I just melt and get shivers up and down my spine...I miss those two. I wish they would have down way more duets together. And June just being herself can cracked me up in a nice way, she was the real deal...

Johnny Cash has ALWAYS been my favorite Country singer of all time, but, after watching this Johnny Carson interview, I fell in love with June Carter-Cash as well. She's one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people that there ever was. Johnny and June loved each other so deeply and passionately. I'm getting teared up just thinking about their life together, the ups and downs, the beautiful children they made together, and the wonderful music they gifted us all with. The love Johnny had for June was shown through when he passed away only a few months after June herself passed away, he was so heartbroken that he couldn't live without her. Roseanne Cash, Jonny's daughter, reminds me so much of her father. She is very gifted and talented in her own right, and beautiful as all get out lol. Johnny's love for our country was so palpable that you can feel it instantly in all his music. The All Mighty God was Johnny's first and foremost love. I pray that John and June will be together forever in God's kingdom 🙏.

Inside Danzig's album, Lucifuge, shows Glenn Danzig wearing the cross of Jesus Christ - upside down - with a demon's head in the middle of the cross. Boldly written at the top is part of John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." Glenn Danzig is a hard-core Satanist. To show his utter hatred for Jesus Christ, one of his songs is titled "Snakes of Christ." Now you want to hear the unbelievable? Not only did Johnny Cash record a song on American label produced by Rick Rubin - but on the album he sings a song written by Satanist Glenn Danzig! The name of the song? You guessed it - Thirteen! Here's what Johnny says about this album: "This is what I've always wanted to do, and I was able to do it with Rick. I think I'm more proud of it than anything I've ever done in my life. I don't think I ever worked so well with a producer in my entire career." Johnny Cash

Johnny Carson. The master of making his guests - and his audience - always feel comfortable, whether by using self deprecating humor, subtle, witty and ever so gentle off color humor, or simple and sincere praise. I love the memory of that man as so many of us older folks do. He tucked us and our parents in and so often gave us all reason to feel optimistic and embrace the coming day, despite politics, wars, threat of nuclear arms, and so much more.
