If you’re going to skate in the rain make sure you have or can afford new bearings, it’s really only $20 for a full set, I’m an all season skater, this is my transportation, I buy maybe five sets of bearings every winter because of the rain, from about the end of April until mid November I tend to use the same set, very rarely need new bearings in the warm months when you run steel

i skateboard in the rain all the time. Usually the wheels barely spin afterwards but you just have to spray them with some wd 40 and that fixes it.

WD-40 is not a lubricant my guy. You didn’t do anything but dry them or possibly destroy your bearings more 😂 use some PB blaster if you want them lubricated again.

Wd40 to save your bearings and mineral oil/wax everything besides the grip tape and dry it off after but eventually it will water log as the board gets more and more abrasion lol but I kept my gear perfectly fine with wd40
