I'm sure those guys really enjoyed having the homeowner and camera over their shoulder every step of the way.

Thank you. I think the key to preventing the ball from skipping is that foam under the Turf. How thick is that foam?
@texaswayz22892 жыл бұрын
Foam brakes down over time. I use epdm rubber mixed with a polyurethane binder then hand trowel.

I wonder what kind of foam is suitable for outdoors. Seems like most foams would break down relatively quickly.

if you use the green for putting and lifting small weight s and normal walking barefoot will u always have sandy feet?

I'm researching this and thinking about doing it myself.....I don't understand why you take the grass off and get it to dirt level when you just pile on a couple tons of gravel?
@dylanalexander9581 Жыл бұрын
You have to make sure there is no grass or any weeds or it will eventually make its way through

That black gorilla tape definitely won't last for a seam with hot and cold weather. Hot weather the tape will move around and winters it won't stay stuck down.

The only thing I do to it is brush it to get debris off. I bought a ryobi 🤢 battery operated sweeper. It does a great job

They say between 15-25 a square foot. Mine was $14.00 a square foot
@18holesofgoof825 жыл бұрын
That's actually not bad for the amount of accuracy and work it takes to get the surface level and rolling nice. Looks good. Would like to hear about durability over time but I assume it'll hold up well when cared for and resanded every few years.. great job

@GuessWho-uc5uq4 жыл бұрын
@@Unplugged704 From the video id guess around 400 sq ft. So from the comment above about his being $14 a sq. ft you're looking at around $5500 for that in the video. Obviously this is all just a loose estimate.

What kind of foam padding was used under the green? I can't seem to find something similar. Also, is this step needed if you won't be hitting to the green, just putting on it?
@JohnnysTipsandTricks4 жыл бұрын
You can get the pad at Tour Greens. I believe the bad is necessary to mimic the softness of the green

This guy is overselling it and the whole process is overkill. The foam pad is corny
