I still have this issue in 2025. The slightest touch or bump will disconnect it from CarPlay. They purposely under-design their products to intentionally fail.

It worked! My Bluetooth connection for WiFi in my car for apple CarPlay works every time! Brilliant! The dealership was useless. And all it took was a piece of electrical tape. Amazing!

I use them daily in my work boots. Thirty some years ago I had frostbite in my feet. Timberline insulated boots help a lot but I need more, so that’s when I started use Hot Hands underneath my toes in the boots. Never had a issue again with cold feet. The Hot Hand hand warmers work so much better than the foot warmers they put out.

I use one for awhile. Place it in sandwich bag. Get excess air out of baggie. Next day take it out of the baggie and it will heat up again.

Has anyone had any problems receiving a picture of a water faucet, which means the device got wet and, as a result, lost power?

Get a can of black primer spray paint and spray paint the orange gloves. The black primer is a dull color it's not shiny and so it will look like black gloves , thanks for the info about the gloves

We do farmer's markets in the winter and use these. They come in handy! Agree. They also need oxygen to warm up. Best to let them get O2 and that also helps!

This is awesome. American ingenuity. I have been having this problem in both my Sienna and Tacoma for years. Instead of going to the dealer$ I will try this! Thanks Bud!!!

If you use a generator to power one leg of your breaker box and you turn on even one of your double-pole breakers, wouldn't that energize the other leg as well?

Another tip, if you keep a ziplock and seal it tight it will cut off oxygen and reuse till they stop warming. Ive had the same pair for a week now for an hour at the end of my work shifts, pop in bag with no oxygen:) save dat money.

This is only for perfect squares tho Cause a 45 degree angle is the perfect split of 90. If it’s a rectangle, it doesn’t apply. Is this correct?

Bullshit lmao I’m an Amazon driver and like now in the winter I put them in my gloves because the only thing that really gets cold is my hands. Sure you have to let them warm up but damn these things get fuckin HOT. Sometimes I have to take them out for a little.

Thank you for doing this video. I just got a used acura mdx and upset because I'm having this issue. I tried several cords, updating my phone, restarting car but nothing stops the constant disconnect. The salespeople said to use OEM but the cord i have is a usb c to usb c not usbc to usb a. I felt duped by them not having them fix this problem. I'm going to try this solution so I don't have to go back to them with this issue.

If people have the opportunity to plan ahead, we can just install a 30 amp breaker (preferably just below the main breaker on the right side so you can add a lockout device) Then wire that breaker to a NEMA L14 30P Plug installed adjacent to your main box. Then, when the power is out, you shut off the main breaker, and your AC system, then supply power with your generator. If you set up a lockout, it ensures you can't have your main and your gen both supplying power at the same time. It is a PITA to open your panel and wire this in every time. Look at your generator. If it only has a 3 prong plug, it can only drive 120V. The description above is for a 220V capable Generator.

If you have a long enough cord, use a spool with a crank handle. Reeling in and dispensing it is quite hassle-free and you are not fighting against any twists.

I roll up my cords, remembering to keep the kinks out by twisting the cord a little bit each roll. I end up with clean, easy to unroll cords that eventually "remember" the technique. The knotted up way is nothing but a disaster waiting to happen right when you need it least.

Was hoping to see the assembly of the blower from beginning to end. Trying to figure out the brackets for the chute snd which bolts and nuts go in there. So many nuts & bolts left. The reason JD dealers and JD do not have clear instuctions is so they can charge $350 to install. Maddening.

Use ethanol, free gas in the generator or put some stabil in it and leave the gas in the carburetor or else the gaskets will dry out and crack. Yea, ask me how I know.....
