Great Video. See it's areas like St.Clair ave/Bathurst, Yonge/st clair along w Yonge/eglington that make Toronto unique to any other city in NA. You can be 3 miles from Downtown and you're still like in a Downtown setting.

There's a lot of great urban neighbourhoods away from the core that's for sure!

@josefmuglia65244 жыл бұрын
@@Skyfoogle Sorry, but I have been to all those places. From Park Slope to Bensonhurst and to West Village. They just didn't impress me. They are more neighborhood types of areas rather than mini Downtowns. Unfortunately, NYC has gone to crap. Therefore, Toronto is now the premier big city in North America.

@@josefmuglia6524 meh. toronto has a lot of glitz and glass condos but it still cant hold a candle to new yorks architecture, urban sprawl, culture, transit infrastructure and history.

@@Skyfoogle When it comes to culture, yes, no other North America city can match it. Lincoln Center complex or museums, but it's infrastructure is crumbling. Did you know the NYC subway is using a signaling system from 1935. The subway tunnels need to be completely rebuilt.

It's been years since I rode a TTC streetcar. These ones are so quiet! I'm use to clang-clang- clunk-clunk when they pass a intersection. :)

Excellent video. I love the multimodal tours of the subway stations. I'm amazed how many pay phones still exist in the stations. They are long gone in most US stations that I encounter.
@zeighy4 жыл бұрын
To my understanding, the payphones are still kept there for "just in case" purposes. I haven't really seen anyone use them, but they are functional phones that will connect you to 911, do call collect, and access operator services. It's usually in case your mobile phone dies, at least you can use something to call. But, I've seen most people just quickly plugin their phones with their charger on the outlets instead.... To the dismay of the TTC, since they didn't want people plugging in to those outlets. As long as you don't loiter around, they don't care much.
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
I believe as zeighy pointed out they're really just there for emergency backup? Although I don't know why we need so many of them.

Lovely video.... The train is similar to that of the Dubai metro here, though different in some designs and colors.. Also the inside bus looks like the buses here in Dubai.... Only that the first 3 or 4 sets of sits in the front are for women & children... While the rest sits behind are for men and also women and families. Like the views. Thanks Johnny!

Beautiful tour I really appreciate these vlogs Johnny🥰 thank God for technology 🙌 I can see your beautiful country before I arrive 💞 I have two questions (1) are the train, bus and streetcar the same price? How many people the train can hold? I find they are pretty long 🤔 thanks for sharing and continue showing these wonderful vlogs 🥰

1) As long as you are within Toronto yes they are! As for capacity, I'm not sure but it's a lot of people on both (providing there's no pandemic). You have a 2 hour transfer window once you're on to transfer from one to the other without paying an extra fare :)
